That seems to be the book on Andersen. He makes some amazing saves and then has a brain fart. There were a many a days I wanted to believe in him but he makes it so hard sometimes. I thought the Leafs had a really solid game, much better than I anticipated. First half of the third and OT wasn't so great though. Caps woke up I guess.

Look, Caps haven't played a real game in like 5-6 days, they thrive on momentum and this was like coming off a bye week. Add in all the pressure of their past demons and being the president trophy winner and they come out skating and shooting like rear end. The fact that they could settle down and come from behind bodes well.

What a poo poo sandwich of a first 30 minutes. The rest of the game was cool. Also Brooks Orpik is at least partially responsible for both goals against and Nate Schmidt will continue to eat nachos in the press box for Game 2. Also John Carlson blows and Shattenkirk and Orlov own bones.

Yeah but radio host pointed out that this is now the 10th loving time they've blown a 2-0 lead and the 16th time they've blown a 2 goal differential this season. That can probably partially be written off as "lol rookies" but it's still a lovely thing to do often Game would have been different if leafs had executed better in the late second and third. Matthews had a ping and there were 3 or 4 other missed chances where Holtby was out of position and the Leafs player just whiffed or whatever

Also as a ref I can't loving stand "playoff rules" officiating standards. If the refs called he same game they did in reg season you'd arguably have even smoother flow of play than by easing off because guys would know they can't get away with garbage crosschecks and guys like Matt "I'm a stupid rear end in a top hat" Martin would help hand out water bottles. Yes I'm mad about sports
