Also just finished the game. Mona pretty much sums up my thoughts about the game perfectly towards the end, "You're the best, stupidest teammates I could hope for." A really great cast of characters trapped in a pretty stupid (though crazy stylish) game.

Goddamn. I got to September and I am getting punked by every social link I care about being cock-blocked by needing max level stats when I am around half-way through the ranks with most of these people Priestess demands max level charm out of the loving blue before she will talk to me more. Star wants max level knowledge, Hierophant needs max kindness, Hanged Man demands max guts etc. I don't remember Persona 4 being anywhere near that savage with skill checks outside of a select few arcana. At this rate I'm just going to end up hanging with some grade school kid in the arcade until the cops haul me away.

There are too many best characters in this game, it's overwhelming. Sojiro and Makoto are awesome, but so are a few others and I can't decide who is the best of the best. Definitely gonna date all 9 girls though.

So I just fixed the laptop. Is there anything I actually REALLY want to buy at the higher tiers? I already have some of these beginning items. I'm glad Tanaka and Igor are the only two recurring characters since 3, though.

lol The end of the game is pretty much anime Ghostbusters, it was so great. I legit just starting playing the song from when they go to fight Gozer on my phone because the tone and scene were so similar. The gauntlet from the casino mission to the end of the game was probably the best sequence the series has had since the final few months of Persona 3. Really, really wish they would stop the animated cutscenes at this point, the in-game cinematics are so much better at this point.

I'm a doofus and activated Ann's Rank 9 event and now I'm just staring at the screen wondering if I want to date her or break her heart so I can keep my options open Ann's S. Link wasn't great but her actual Rank 9 scene was good imo, she has some good scenes scattered throughout it, but some are a bit eh

Yeah the focus on action movies and the other model were a little off, but Ann's whole theme of wanting to be better for her only friend she feels like she completely failed is great. I like Ann way more than I expected tbh she's strong and determined but still goofy to text you about how much she wants crepes and ask you go to Love, Actually with her

Mishima's invite events usually have another Confidant show up too so you can get points for them. Going with him to investigate some weirdo that's been reported and finding it's Yusuke, or seeing him get blown off by The King are pretty funny. Though you'll have no way of knowing who will show up or if it'll be someone you actually need the points with, so that kinda sucks still.
