The giant flying insects and pretrodactyl things were not very interesting, but I loved the communal spider monsters with acid silk and the giant toothy tentacle. The barely-seen bipedal lobster was pretty too.

Well I just watched the Mist and I think the tentacles, lobster monster and giant thing at the end were cool Big Bugs, flying cartoon birds and spiders were not particularly cool I really wanted to see what the tentacles were attached to

I liked the teeth and skull of the big bugs. I think a lot of the creature design was good if not always particularly executed well due to budget.

Haha I made one of our vendors do a script for this and instead of going frame by frame in Final Cut they kept pausing the quicktime in quicktime player. They could have used this.
