Tittydemon show features a lot of my favorite voice actors (Eri Kitamura, Ai Kakuma, Shizuka Itou, Yoko Hikasa) plus a few I've liked in the few roles in which I've seen them (Azusa Tadokoro- Fino from Yuusha ni Narenakatta and Yui Ogura- Tsutsukakushi from HenNeko and Sorata's sister from Sakurasou) so I feel like I sort of have to watch it. I've learned my lesson, though, and this will be my last post about it.

VD had a weirdly high budget for what it was but this thing looks cheaply made, and it isn't really fun and flashy enough to make up for it yet, pretty likely to give this one up if it just ends up being boring)

My problem with it is that the plot makes no sense. Lucifer won't work with Levi except now she will, she can beat up all the demons except now they can cut her wings off, and she's been sent to Earth.... why?

 when i saw the promo i thought her design was hilarious and shes a thirsty gay so she's doublegood now, the hybrid animal demons were a cool touch, fights were boring, i can't be assed to watch a show with that many sunbursts though

I mean, when you're dealing with the literal forces of darkness, feeling sorry for them is a bit of an effort for most people. Enslaving angels alongside them is unlikely to be good for PR, though, even if Heaven's conduct in the first season wasn't ideal.

Kado is really fascinating. It's totally different than anything I've seen, anime or not. It takes has an incredibly measured and thoughtful approach to everything, which is really refreshing. I'm going to stick with it and see where this goes, so here's to hoping that they don't gently caress things up along the way.

"Fun" is the wrong word for Arrival. It's a thinking person's movie, 100%. But it is an exceptional movie and I'm so glad that Villeneuve is getting his due recognition.
