Cats from other regions (tigers, cougar, fishing cat, etc) don't have any particular issues with water and some (like tigers) even enjoy swimming.

Can confirm, one of the cats I had growing up loved water and loved to jump in with anyone taking a bath.

My big yellow idiot has a good chance on being wet any time you go to pet him. He loves to jump in the shower, or the sink, or just play in his water jug because of the bubbles. Cats are just weird.

My mom is fostering a blind beagle. He's tiny by beagle standards. Less than 20 pounds and under 13 inches. He never barks and can somehow navigate new environments pretty well. I want to keep him!
