Was that Alex Jones preview the entire sketch about him? I was looking forward to a longer bit in episode 101

I still think West Wing is at least an ok show but A) Sorkin is such a huge piece of poo poo no one should feel good watching anything he makes, and B) they nailed the absolute absurdity in showing politics as a never ending series of debate fights with a clear winner and loser all the time. Also the line about the perfect summary of Sorkin being having a character debate God and be right is pretty much the best one line review anyone can ever do about the show even with its good elements.

The Newsroom was Quentin Tarantino's favorite TV show. He watched every episode at least 3 times because he loved the dialogue so much.

I can never think of the Newsroom without thinking of that Frank Luntz profilequote:If he could, Luntz would like to have a consulting role on The Newsroom, Aaron Sorkin's HBO drama. "I know I'm not supposed to like it, but I love it," he says. He feels a kinship with Jeff Daniels' character, the gruff, guilt-ridden, ostensibly Republican antihero, who is uncomfortable with small talk and driven by a "mission to civilize." "I love that phrase," Luntz says. "That doesn't happen in anything that we do."

In the same vein as "John Stewart said comedy gold, he's a goon", does anyone know if the phrase "Game of Cucks" was something chapo said? Cause I listen to Rational Security and they alluded to a podcast describing the Trump white house that way. I think it's cool that one of the co-hosts of FIve Thirty Eight listens, and it'd be even cooler if a bunch of international relations professors did as well. It would give me hope for the future of pundits they teach.

Major news sites put out stories about Bannon and Kushman's feud with the word "cuck" in the headline, don't be surprised it took the pundits zero time to make Game of Thrones references.
