You guys all seem like you're voting for people on the basis of their personality, rather than policy. You choose people based on whether you "like" them. It explains so, so so much. You poor rebels, you never realised the fundamental fact of voting for people who actually represent your interests. I guess it's only fair. [I like the fact that England could have crushed you, right down, but lacked the mere political will to do so.] Anywhere in the Commonwealth (a Commonwealth you too could have shared if you had been more patient), the people vote for political parties and politicians, but it is so much more casual and ironic. We all know that every government is the same. The Bureaucracy controls everything. Voting is a joke, but we know that, so it's a fun joke. I just kinda feel bad for you because your flag is boring. Maybe if you'd kept the Union Jack for a few decades you'd have come up with something more personal to your land, just trying to fight against that hateful cross. Spain is still the all time dick champion. Less than 10% of the slave trade went to the British colonies because the slaves could actually survive to birth further generations.
