Operation: Maximum War Crimes MLRS attack: 2x Gripen with air to air load out 2x Frogfoot with ground strike/SEAD and 2x Hawk with cluster bomb munitions. 1x Tornadoes with SEAD loadout. 6 Sk-60 with rocket loadouts Convoy defense: 2x Gripen 2x F4 with A2A loadouts patroling over the convoys. 1x Tanker to keep them in the air. Tank column attack: 2x F4 with A2A loadouts escort. 4x F4 with 2000lb bombs 1x Tornado with SEAD loadout. Opportunity strike: 2x Gripen with A2A loadouts escort. 2x Tornadoes with SEAD/HARM missiles. 1x Prowler with HARM missiles. Reserve: The S-100 orbits close to our base and provides overwatch. 2x Gripen with A2A loadouts on ready 5. They scramble after any enemy air assets spotted. This is a modified proposal from Saro's, it isn't meant to be particular serious I just wanted to throw out something with cluster munitions for the hell of it. I'll probably continue to throw out hail mary style maximum war crimes proposals as we increase our equipment just for fun and practice.

I'd like to propose altering First Impressions as such: Send both Frogfeet (Frogfoots?), both Hawks, and the Reaper at the rocket batteries. Tell the Reaper to hold fire until the others Winchester. If after all THAT something's still alive, send in the SK60s. Instead, send all 8 Phantoms with the 2000lb bombs to go liquefy some T55s. Keep CAP and SEAD the same. Keep the useless Spewers at home. Prowler can toss its one HARM at whatever random radar it finds but it should not stray from behind the CAP. My issue with sending the SA-22s is that if our CAP goes home and they're still on the road they might get sniped. They are notably slower than a fighter aircraft, and they're reasonably capable of defending themselves but not incredibly so. I'm undecided on if this is a good idea or not.

Aww I feel so sorry for her. Stupid Indian government, it's always the people on the bottom who suffer. Anyhow I wish Rohan and Silent Bob good luck hopefully her mission will help ours and if not well that's fine as well we still get paid anyway.

First Impressions is the closest to what I'd want (I posted my wishes above if Bac agrees). The first two still have air-to-ground assets assigned to the aid convoy which seems like a great way to get them shot down.

Mine was posted before the s100 snapshot so it's out of date. I think the basic bomber distribution is sound but it needs reworking for specific loadouts and to recombine gripen/f4 into wingmen. I'm out for a few days do someone feel free to work up a version of it.

I had a vote a few posts ago but I'm changing it having seen a plan I missed. We have to evaluate things clearly given our limited resources. Unless I've missed stuff, my takes is that: MLRS is a potentially existential threat to our operation. If we lose our airbase and resources there, we might be finished in this theater. The ground convoy is critical, but not existential. Our failure to repulse this attack would put us and our employer into a terrible position moving forward, but we would probably be able to continue to operate in the short term, at least. The aid convoy is a medium priority. The loss of the convoy would represent a terrible thing for a lot of people, and it's in our interest to at least be seen to be a part of making things better around here, but our operational capacity probably isn't affected by losses here. I am assuming we will take losses regardless of our approach. We should ensure that our existential and critical tasks can be accomplished with minimal losses and then devote surplus resources to the convoy, either using resources that cannot contribute to the other missions or as a secondary mission after we accomplish the others. I really liked the flexibility of Maximum Warcrimes, but Big Papa more directly conforms to the priorities, imo. My concern is that we have minimal flexibility regarding the convoy. My, uh... analysis (guess) is that the main threat to the mechanized strike, at least, will be IADS not airborne resources. I don't want to get into a loop of endless revisions, but I would argue that we should implement Operation Big Papa with the following changes: assign the prowler to the mechanized attack to help deal with the SAM resources we know are there and pull 2 Grippens off the mechanized attack and assign to the convoy, with the expectation that they will respond as needed to additional air threats.

First Impressions 2000 pound laser guided bombs are really good, y'all. The only way to make them better is if they were legit JDAMs that can use GPS/INS guidance through cloud cover. I really would take GBU-10/24s over any of the cluster bombs/dispensers we have even if "war crimes" were not a consideration. I think a four-ship of Phantoms is probably going to run out of targets.

If it says the F-4E will carry incendiary rounds then we have access to it. This holds true for all items except nuclear weapons. I decided not to play procurement with ammo, it led to too many headaches and wasn't fun.
