Wow that one hurts. Harden got two pretty good looks (for him) towards the end.

James harden was like 20/20 from the line, Lou Williams was automatic, Ryan Anderson was actually useful, and dipo still hasn't had a good game. Houston should have closed out the series there and may regret not doing so.

I think RBB + their depth will ultimately win them the series, but I could see OKC pushing it to 6 games. It sure looked like Russ was going to blow it again at the end, though.

So assuming CP3 never wins a title where would he rank in terms of "loving great player who never won a title"? Barkley/Stockton/Malone-tier? That game was loving incredible.

he's probably placed lesser than Malone/Stockton because he never had the sustained late playoff success they had. And he's probably less than a few other guys too because he never had that one season where he dragged a poo poo team to the finals/conference finals. All the data (I bet?) says he's better that Iverson but Iverson has that one playoff run which lasts. Same with other guys who regardless of conference strength and whatnot dragged a poo poo as team to the finals. There have been a lot of superb players to drag their team deep. Unfortunately for CP3 he played during the Spurs/GSW/etc era and so history wont be kind (imo he's better than everyone mentioned)

I can't think of many memorable Paul playoff performances and watching him dominate last night was good.

Why the gently caress did Hoiberg play Michael Carter Williams so many minutes last night. I'd rather them just put any other random player on the court. He's such a loving hot dog armed waste of space

Iverson was one of my favorite players of all time and gently caress Chris Paul, but Paul is in the discussion for best PG of all time. The fact that he played in a wood chipper of a conference for his whole career doesn't change that.
