You're off the list for now.

I guess going into this series not expecting anything has helped me stay zen. But that's one cheap shot or bad ref call away from crumbling probably.

Either way, this series has been one of the best of the first round.

Julien hasn't been around for that long and the zone transitions look much better. Hopefully he can unfuck AGally & co during training camp and the early season. Or right now too, I wouldn't mind.

Dubnyk and Price actually had similar stats to end the season, so I think a combination of Price being more well known for being a great goalie + Dubnyk's struggles happening at the end of the season is why Price took the nomination over Dubnyk.

I would've loved for Talbot to be a nominee, but alas.

Price's EV% was significantly better, but we know drat well the voters don't look at that.

Doesn't really matter who the 3rd nominee is, it's a 2 horse race between :cop: and Holtby.

The Pens are going to get eliminated and play the Habs in a charity match?

It's not a two horse race, Bobrovsky is going to canter in.
Worse team, better SV% with similar GAA, and the difference in wins and shutouts are close enough they shouldn't make a difference.

It's also literally as every single HAS poster had predicted.

In hindsight it was a favor to PK. Traded to a much better team not run by people who would choose the coach over the star player.

I'm aware that the Leafs will be out by the end of tomorrow but it's still nice to know that the Habs are objectively worse.

Uhh... not sure how both teams going out in 6 makes one "objectively worse".
Less hopeful, sure, but I'm sure the next 5 years of Leafs "almosts" will make up for that.

Every game this series minus one has basically been 50/50 and that one very well could have gone to overtime had the team not shot itself in the foot with a stupid turnover. Anything can happen

2 losing to 7 is worse than 8 losing to 1, obviously.

I don't like the Rangers but watching basically every move the Habs made over the last year (Weber, Shaw, Ott, and poo poo like that) makes this series result feel very satisfying.

Just let it sink in folks, the last Habs goal of the season was scored by Alexei Emelin.
