I've been trying to order those bordifies white border precise fits for my deck and literally nowhere has any in stock, and even fewer places ship them to Canada. I went to the sleeve makers Facebook page and asked and they gave me an answer apologizing for opaqueness so I don't think they're English speaking ?!?? I just want to troll people with my sleeve choices :/

I don't understand how not banning things somehow gets more people to be confident in buying into Standard. I bought into Marvel deck for a few local tournaments, and it was pretty okay but the lottery aspect was real stupid. Then they basically banned it out of the format. Yeah Emrakul was pretty unfun and dumb and ubiquitous, so I'm fine with that banning, if hey're going to ban other cards in standard that are dumb and unfun and ubiquitous. The only deck I would be willing to play in Standard is Cat Combo. The combo is are much of the metagame as Emrakul decks were in the previous season, with significantly less variety among the decks, and a dumb turn 4 combo that just strangles a large number of potential archetypes is pretty much the same effect Emrakul had where you couldn't have a long game that was better than casting Emrakul, but in addition the combo also stops stuff like the Colossus or Aetherflux Reservoir or ramp decks from existing. The combo has all the same effects that Emrakul had on the format, yet WotC is just...leaving it around? If I bought into that deck and it got banned, I'd feel like a real idiot because obviously it was going to get banned, but if it doesn't get banned then it stopped me from buying into the format while also enabling the least interesting Pro Tour. Also Copter shouldn't be banned. Banning Copter because it just went into every deck with creatures was stupid, because it didn't force those decks to diversify, they just stopped existing.

The vast majority of Legacy players play Limited, Standard, EDH, etc. in addition to Legacy and he'll, they aim products at those formats all of the loving time. I can buy this and I think it's a similar rate among serious cubers based on my strong evidence of reading cube forums and the two cube articles a year. Prerelease is probably the biggest exception but that brings a lot of different types of magic players together for a weekend. Cube and modern are the formats I play the most with the occasional sprinkling of others (except standard) and that seems like more than the average cuber dedicated enough to post on cube forums.

So I'm entering my Amonkhet cards into my collection tracker on MTGGoldfish and I see that Glorybringer is now at $12. I don't know what the hell for but I'm glad I preordered the other three I need for a playset last night at $5.95 each.

They're technically borderfy precise fit white border. They're sold out everywhere that I can find and the maker doesn't ship to North America yet. If you can find the white border precise fits and ship them to Canada, send me that link! My plan is to use them in conjunction with those ultra guard sleeves that have the matte black inside. Which would ideally lead to T1 playing a black bordered basic that uses the word "tap" on it, and using that to cast a white bordered judge foil noble hierarch that has a tiny black outline around it from the ultra guard sleeve. I assume at that point my opponent scoops in rage.
