That's literally claiming to keep the status quo, doing nothing at all - and wanting cheers & recognition for it. LMAO Trump is a stupid man and he is a disgusting man. But he is also a lazy man who'll take any accolades he can, especially without any work at all.

If I can't deduct mortgage interest I'm gonna be pissed

Also this:

Trump's plan would eliminate the state and local tax deduction that can be taken under current federal tax law. Syracuse.com says that those two deductions are the most popular with New Yorkers and their elimination will cost New Yorkers $4,500 on average since state and local taxes are so high here and elsewhere across the state.

I keep waiting for the realization to slowly hit these people that they voted completely against their own interests, nothing will get done that was promised on the campaign trail, that they made a huge mistake. There's a small minority that just won't ever admit it, but I think the massive majority is just too stupid to realize any of this and will just continue to believe the nonsense pounded down their throats from Fox News/brietbart, etc.

Outside the bar, local radio show host Edd Raineri escorted an Elvis impersonator to dinner before a show at the region's performing arts center. He said there was no reason to be disappointed in the president — yet.

"He's certainly done more in his first 100 days than anybody else has ever done — give the guy a break," said Raineri, whose radio show is dedicated solely to the Beatles. "The attitude should be, 'Show me.' And if you can't show me, then you can throw your mud. That should be for anyone who takes political office, but at this point it's too early to say whether he's just a windbag."

I am going only by the people that I personally know, but...most of them don't pay attention to politics unless it's election season. Their guy won, they stopped paying attention altogether. There is zero schadenfreude to be had when they don't even realize what's happening.
The only information about current events comes from Fox, or even worse: they get their dose of 'current' events (and how everything is the libs fault) every two years summed up by the politicians they vote for without giving it a second thought.
They see Trumps speeches on Fox, they might even see a tweet or two. But what they do see and talk about is Trump pinning a medal on a soldier in a wheel chair. They do see Trump talking to cops and being tough. Every single one of those things they see and they love.
They don't really give a poo poo about Trump not getting anything done. Their guy won and he's sticking it to those libtards.

lol?

vv a lot of them don't see a buffoon. They see a hero of conservative values (see photo op comment above).vv

I think a lot of it is straight up denial. They made a choice and were probably really vocal about it to family/friends/coworkers and now it's looking worse and worse for them. Instead of admitting that they are wrong they are searching for any evidence that Trump isn't that utter baffoon that he is.

They read the alt-right rags or just stay ignorant to news so they don't have to face it day after day. When confronted with it they "fight back" with diverting the conversation, bringing up Hillary/DNC/Obama, or pointing to feeble White House statements.

This will continue until we are all radiated dust.

It's exactly this.

I had a friend who bought an expensive car. He made poo poo up about it and acted like no other car could ever be better than his in any way. It started breaking down and having expensive repairs out of warranty. He still claimed it was an amazing machine even though everyone else saw it as a complete lemon. Because he paid such a high price and had spent so much time talking about how great it was, he couldn't ever allow himself to step back and admit that maybe it wasn't the perfect driving machine (since it was spending most of it's time in the mechanic's bay).

Trump's administration is an expensive car that appears to have lots of positive points to the buyers, but it's really just a broken and badly designed piece of poo poo.

Court Upholds $300,000 Fine After Trump Refuses to Pay Miami Paint Store

According to court records, Trump agreed to pay the Paint Spot, which supplies Benjamin Moore paint, $200,000 for supplies to help renovate the Lodge at Trump Doral. But, Trump being Trump, in 2013 he simply decided he had "paid enough" of the contract and wouldn't fork over the last $32,535.87 he owed.

It's a classic Trump move: He and his companies have been sued literally thousands of times, often for simply deciding that he no longer felt like paying prearranged sums to small companies and construction contractors.

So, in 2014, Circuit Court Judge Jorge Cueto slapped a lien on the entire Trump Doral resort and ordered the then-not-president to fork over cash or face a June 2016 foreclosure sale on one of his most-valued properties. In another classically Trumpian move, he persuaded the judge to cancel the foreclosure proceedings after he placed the $34,000 into an escrow account, according to Jose Lambiet. But, naturally, Trump still refused to actually give that money to the Paint Spot.

In July, Judge Cueto ruled that Trump owed the Paint Spot both the money he'd stiffed the company on and $282,949 in attorney's fees. Trump filed an appeal. Through a series of convoluted, arcane filings, Trump's lawyers argued that the Paint Spot had technically filed a lien on the wrong subcontractor at Trump Doral.

Yesterday Miami's Court of Appeal ruled that Trump's claim was technically accurate and that the Paint Spot had, in fact, served the wrong party with a notice to owner (NTO). But the court then simply ruled that state laws say this error didn't actually matter because the Trump company was aware of the lien regardless.

.....

So now, the president of the United States of America, whose sons now technically run his companies, will be forced to either admit he got beat by a tiny Miami paint company or will need to file a whole appeal to the Florida Supreme Court over $32,000 in paint. Good thing he "became president"

SMH any pro would know to shrink down the margins as well until it hits two pages.

Another pro tip: setting the punctuation to a larger font size. This won't do anything for a single page, but throughout larger documents it's a nice little page count boost with the added benefit of being more or less unnoticeable, whereas I've heard of professors literally putting rulers to the margins to see if they're the correct size.

Well, the idea behind eliminating deductions is to grow the overall base of taxable income, then in return lower taxes until you're back at your previous income, but with a much less complicated system.

It's just that Trump wants to lower taxes until there's no income, and only for millionaires.

One more lol,

By mid-2016, eighty percent of all agencies were using PIV cards to log into federal IT systems. Today, the Senate neither requires nor offers two-factor authentication as an additional protection for desktop computers and e-mail accounts. The Senate Sergeant at Arms does not require two-factor authentication for staff who wish to log into Senate IT systems from home, using a Virtual Private Network... Moreover, in contrast to the executive branch's widespread adoption of PIV cards with a smart chip, most Senate staff ID cards have a photo of a chip printed on them, rather than a real chip. Given the significant investment by the executive branch in smart-chip based two-factor authentication, we should strongly consider issuing our staff real chip-based ID cards and then using those chips as a second factor.
