When I visited Quebec there were nightly student protests going on and the T.V. news referred to them as "manifestation nocturne" which sounded cool as hell. That'd be a great name for a gothic rock band. There was also a chain of gas stations / bodegas / convenience stores called Couche Tard with an owl mascot.  I laughed because I am a yokel and French is a strange language to me. I've listened to an interview with Marion Marechal-Le Pen. It was pretty vapid and shallow, she sounds like your average career politician that went with FN because of her family ties. Really surprised how devoid of substance that was.
