Billy Monger, the 17 year old who was in that horrific British F4 crash at the weekend is losing both his legs. His team has set up a donation page to help fund his rehab. I figured he wasn't gonna have full leg ability after that but straight up losing them is horrible.

Beats the gently caress out of LeMons. 300 CAD for car, 100 or so for melon protector and some spray paint and masking tape for your theme and youre good. Much better than spending almost 10 large to field a 500 dollar shitbox entry in a LeMons event.

When you are just using a field instead of Road America and Sears Point and stuff, it helps keep the costs and lawyer scrutiny down. i really wanna tear rear end around a field in a shitbox. although i guess you dont need no fancy racing series to do what kids in rural areas do on weekends already

Rally Argentina is about to kick off with a special stage in Cordoba. Its a loose dirt rally that is infamous for its spectators, both in number (up to half a million over the weekend) and their willingness to get close to the action. Are the days of the July Lime Rock event numbered? I have been on and off, and only tangentially foIlow sports car racing, I swear that since like 05 they have gone from 4 classes (including LMP900/P1) down to three (two GT classes and PC), now this year it's two GT classes only.
