Stupid 49ers getting Foster one pick before, but yeah, I'm ok with a tackle assuming he'll play right tackle. Maybe get Jordan Willis with 42.

I meant the first pick. I don't know anything about the tackle dude.

I'd be surprised if Strief makes it the whole year at this point so we had to draft OL eventually. My only hangup is we've historically been good at finding decent OL help later in the draft. Feels like this was just a default pick since Foster got snatched from us.

Christian McCaffrey is a cutie, but I'm glad the Bucs got Howard. I was hoping for a receiver because behind Evans and Jackson (who has never played a full 16 game season as far as I know) the cupboard is full of spiders and ratshit, but the early run on receivers makes me think this was the right move. I just hope it doesn't turn into another Austin Sefarian-Jenkins situation.

Not dead hookers, but slightly awkward considering the Falcons drafted him.

A thing I literally read this morning "Glad we drafted a hard working smart player and not some thug".

I don't watch college football what was Stanford's offense like? We did hire their WR/RB coach to replace Proehl, maybe they're giving him a lot of input and he's putting in a lot of poo poo for passing and motioning running backs, that's the only thing I can think of at this point? It makes no sense for the team we had last year unless a big part of the offseason has been re-tooling the offense to feature more passing and motion concepts. Don't forget too, Jim Skipper is a pretty loving good RB coach he turned Tiki Barber from a 3rd down return man into one of the most productive backs in the NFL.

Some of this is me talking myself into the 2 picks, but there's 2 guys on the offensive staff with a history of getting a lot of all purpose yards out of running backs guys expected to only be return men/3rd down guys. It's a gamble but hey, gently caress it they're in it now.

I dont really post in this thread but why the gently caress did we (panthers) just draft another guy who is essentially being hailed as the same type of player as the first guy we drafted in what was deemed to be a pretty deep draft at all positions save for linemen and qbs?

please help me understand so i dont give up on this season before its even summer

in theory McCaffrey is a pass catching RB and Samuel is a slot receiver

in practice it's pretty dumb

im trying to talk myself into it, and I guess cam having more weapons to throw to is a good thing? Olsen couldn't really do everything by himself last year, so yeah it'd be nice if one of these dudes pans out.

Olsen couldn't do anything because he had to stay in and block.

Of course if you think the Panthers have addressed that issue than whelp
