Monty still good as gently caress to be honest. Revolver is essentially pointless now, but the P9 still does work since you have plenty of bullets to cheese a headshot with. Additionally, it's kind of demoralizing to get hit with even if it doesn't 2 shot you. March forward with shield extended. Then drop shield, crouch, fire once or twice. Extend shield. Rinse and repeat.

I've even caved for some of the games various microtransactions. But, I feel like half of my time with it is just spent getting booted from the servers or having to relaunch the game because of some stupid error message.

So many times I've taken a random shot at a window or wall and come up with a headshot, it probably looked like I was hacking in a bunch of these situations too.

So after being unable to connect to servers all weekend I tried forcing connecting to a different datacenter and bam, straight in no problems. Maybe they should change it so it cycles them if they are unreachable for whatever reason?

A lot of times I'll be like "oh look! there's somebody...right....HERE!"---blam, dead. I get caught putting away the motion detector as they're coming in. Its hard to find people to team up for it, but a competent 2-man team of Pulse and Caveira is the most fun thing you can do in Siege.

I love when I'm Pulse and am playing with a mate in Discord, the amount of wall / window bangs we get are so satisfying. I just stand by shootable walls / windows and call out when there's an enemy.

Had a short phase where I almost exclusively played Pulse. I love his shotgun and use only that, as I figure he should be mainly for getting a close jump on the enemy anyway. Though I do often gently caress up with window kills, since his sensor takes so much time to put away, the enemy has usually moved by the time I shoot.

Ye I stopped using the shotgun cause wallbanging / windowbanging people was annoying as gently caress, seeing as the first spray would usually hurt them only a little and they'd panic fire and kill me. I used his other gun and I was getting kills more consistently.

I just don't understand cheating in multiplayer. It's one thing to exploit a map (e.g. a glitched camping spot) for the occasional "lulz," another thing to have a program running through a second monitor to help you get kills. Unless your intention is to just be a jackass. So, what, it gets you to the top of the leaderboards and into MLG status? Congratulations, you are number 1 at video games via cheating. Would at least be much more impressive if you worked hard for it. Anyway, back to Siege discussion.

Just remember you have to have the jammer down before she sets it off. If you put the jammer down while it's going off, you won't stop it. Same with Bandit's battery.

Team-based operators are really satisfying to play as, but if the enemy has a Thatcher, gl hf, all your poo poo gets exploded. I wish his EMP grenade disabled gadgets for a few minutes instead of outright causing them to explode (that's not how EMPs work!). So I'm always torn between placing gadgets fully at the start of the round, or placing one or two and keeping one as a backup for if my poo poo gets exploded. Playing as attackers without a Thatcher and a defending team filled with team-based operators is insanely frustrating. You can't breach where you wanna breach, nothing works, it causes you to go the long way round. So I always try and roll Thatcher if possible.

When playing Mute, I generally like to keep at least one jammer on backup in case of Thatcher/Twitch. Thatcher doesn't seem to be as necessary in casual, since a lot of people don't seem to know how to efficiently use Mute, and Bandit can only cover so many walls. Though I feel a lot of people are unprepared for him, so he can really screw the enemy over with the right team combo.
