His prosthetic arm in 4 has a visible fake seam on the forearm, but the actual connection point is up near his shoulder. in MGS2 you see the connecting seam on his forearm, but he never rolls his sleeve up far enough to show the shoulder connection. I'm not saying it was all planned out from the get go, or that Kojima didn't make MGS2 with the idea that Ocelot was actually possessed, but MGS4 reveals the arm to be prosthetic. The idea that he switched arms between MGS2 and MGS4 is found only one place in the games, the Metal Gear Encyclopedia that was included with MGS4. But the Encyclopedia was clearly not written by Kojima, because it makes several other mistakes.
