I think it was after Notail was mediocre with the old C9 when there were rumors among the pros that he would never be able to play on a T1 team again and that all of the old Fnatic players were finished? Boy do they have egg on their faces now!

Just my dumbass opinion from watching far too many hours of Dota over all these years, often staying late at night watching tourneys at all hours, but I think the best mid player in the world right now is MidOne. That's why it annoys me to see the current Secret. I mean, it's funny. But it's also unfortunate.

Really great tournament, and that final series was amazing. Only thing that could've made it better was that trashbag Brazilian team beating EG/Arteezy after dumpstering Secret/Puppey -- which came legit close to happening!

As much as I like Faceless, I don't think they deserve a direct invite. No SEA direct invite but an extra qual slot seems like a better way to go.

Huh. TI with no defending champions in any form. Interesting. There's a lot of amazing individual moments in that team, but 7.xx wrecked them and they did not want to adapt. Hover your wings  e: Okay wait a minute the defending champions get a free trip to Seattle to stay in a swank hotel room and even if they bomb out dead last they get SOME money. I was rooting for them super hard because they were really fun new-guy underdogs but 5th-8th in a major isn't TI invite material by itself. They need to prove themselves at another tournament, maybe make top 3 before they deserve that. And if they can't get it they could probably fight their way through a qualifier. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing them play again.
