Tenzarin posted:There's also the photo of gus's with the bank account that they find after they use the magnet truck to kill the laptop in the last half season of breaking bad. They never talk about it after this episode also. This launches a huge plot point that ends up with a main character getting shot and killed.

Since "good man" could be used as a descriptor for both of them, I am hereby changing my name to Saul Goodman. Though, I'm kind of a lovely dude, so I'm going to be a shady type of lawyer. Money laundering, meth deals, you know. this just sounds like a jamie casino commercial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jr2gdPY-88w

Tenzarin posted:I thought they were already arrested after gus got his face blown off. They were arrested, but they (incl. Mike) were all being paid from those offshore accounts to keep quiet in the event of Gus' death or capture. Once Jesse and Walt destroyed the evidence room and the bank info was discovered, it basically sets off the events of that half of the season (Mike needs $$$ so he begrudgingly works for Jesse and Walt, Gus' other employees start thinking about ratting everyone out since they aren't getting paid, etc.) Walt has to shut the captured employees up by paying to have them killed in prison.

Great little detail in "Rebecca": In the scene where Chuck invites Jimmy over for dinner to meet his wife, Jimmy apologizes for missing their wedding. There's this pregnant pause, and Jimmy keeps explaining his apology and Rebecca is the one that has to step in and say, that's all right, no worries; not Chuck.

Jesse is still alive. It's possible that Walt could still be alive. All he did was collapse, it's possible they got paramedics there to patch him up and get him to a hospital.

Chuck talked to a lawyer. I was hoping for the trial last week. It better be tonight.

Walt and Jesse will never show up in the Gene storyline because their story is over. Walt is dead. Jesse is free. There's literally nothing satisfactory that could come from having them show up again. If anyone shows up in a Gene flash-forward, it'll be someone exclusive to BCS because that's the only thing that could give the "cameo" any emotional weight. Kim, Hamlin, Chuck, etc. Having Badger show up and order two dozen cinnabuns would be pointless. Having Kim show up and not even recognize Jimmy would be crushing. The Gene intros aren't there to fill in Breaking Bad aftermath lore. They're there to shine a spotlight on what you lose when you choose the path that leads to Saul Goodman. Vince Gilligan said the show could potentially warp to just the Gene story line if they finish with Jimmy. Don't even pretend you wouldn't poo poo your pants if the last line of the show was "Yo, can I get, like, uh cinnamon roll, bitch?"

I worked at a Raising Cane's in the southwest, I honestly have no idea what the gently caress we'd have done in that situation. And I was thinking, it'd be unexpected if it's the Cartel that ends up loving up Hector. Getting his little shop busted and then threatening a very successful guy who works for a different lieutenant doesn't sound like it'd play well, and seems like at least one of those customers or employees would phone 911 as soon as they got to safety. They went to the trouble of showing Gus with the cops so maybe Hector's in for some legal trouble.
