Alonso going with a pretty cool retro design on his helmet for the 500.  Ive always really liked the simpler bold designs, especially when they are carried over for whole careers with subtle tweaks that fans can recognize. You always know what car Bourdais is in, for example.

I really hope Alonso and McLaren just go "gently caress it", then go full time in the series next year. He seems to like it here and I imagine it'd be like an Emmo situation pt II. Plus he has an insanely fanbase it seems. The only doubt that creeps in mind is it would be a significant payout for him.

honestly Alonso doing Indy is not something I would have expected, I had halfway suspected that Massa might look into it after retiring, but maybe Indycar isn't really that big a thing for Brazlilian drivers anymore.
