Sure, but the visual weight of that one means it's a kitchen design. It's way out of proportion even for the bulky sink OP chose.

Edit: Ugh the sink is even more feee-male unfriendliness. Imagine washing your makeup brushes, or god forbid some delicate underthings, in that shallow-rear end sink with the water stream way off in the corner.

I can't imagine washing my face in that thing. I didn't even think about handwashing anything in it. Soaking a bra?

Look as long as you didn't drill holes in your roof and stuff wiring down all your drains to install it, you do you.

this sink is the kind of poo poo i'd love to see at a fancy b&b. in my own house i'd probably rip it out in under a week or whenever i had to clean it, whichever came sooner.

I saw that episode the other day and it just seemed to be a perfect picture of what'll happen with OP, because know you he's going to take short cuts and not do proper waterproofing around that stupid loving tub of his. Even if he doesn't use it, water's still gonna get in there when he gets out of the shower or from condensation. If there's a way, water will find it.

i mean in OP's extremely tenuous defence, it's a bathroom, those get wet, i think the beams in this episode were a roof leak.

doesn't make them any less ruined though.

Can you do anything with this sink besides washing your hands (briefly, at half water pressure so you don't completely cover the front of your shirt with splash-out from this non-receptacle)? I just can't even picture being able to do a single sink thing with this "sink."

people splash water on the counter washing their hands in a normal person sink that's six inches deep. so let's make one that's an inch and a half deep that it's nearly impossible to clean under.

Yeah, I just know if OP had continued doing this bathroom himself, his joists would be rife with mold and rot within a year easily. He just better really hope the contractors do a good job.

But still, we've seen the kind of work OP did himself on the bathroom so far, we know he's done work on other places in the house. You really have to wonder just how long it'll be until it starts falling to pieces on him.

yeah but you can screw up a LOT before something's actually structurally unsound. in this case OP's bathroom desires just happened to point him in that direction.

As long as you don't mind having a continuous stream of water rather than using the plug you could probably shave (I assume there will be a mirror there eventually).
