The stars fade out from the screen, and a light,

CLARENCE'S VOICE
Where? I don't see a thing.

JOSEPH'S VOICE
Oh, I forgot. You haven't got your wings yet. Now look, I'll help

The blur on the screen slowly begins to take form. We see a group

Why, yes. This is amazing.

* For some reason on the version of Petitioning the Empty Sky I have, the track in-between "Homecoming" and the cover of Twisted Sister's "Burn in Hell" isn't the alternative version of "Love as Arson" but something I can't identify. If I upload it to a private YouTube link this evening, can one of you guys who's way into Converge help me identify it?

There are like 5+ different versions of Petitioning the Empty Sky. Is it one of the live tracks?

The wikipedia page has a bunch of the different track listings. Discogs probably has an even more complete version if you wanna wade through it. I'm not at all familiar with them doing a Twisted Sister cover.

It certainly sounds like a live track, but it could be a demo or some poo poo. And, yeah, they did a TS cover and it loving rules.

Their covers were always really interesting. Their version of Serial Killer got me into Vio-Lence (bad name, great band) and both them and Cave-In's songs from that early 2000s metalcore tribute to The Cure were awesome. I got to see the live debut of their version of Disintegration complete with Steve Brodsky on second guitar and backing vocals a few years back, great stuff.

Good, I'm not a fan of their music.

edit:

There were some unusual moments, like a ballet scene where squirrels literally killed Veruca Salt. They also, oddly, included dabbing in the show.

The show’s time frame also seemed out of whack. Charlie’s mother almost loses her laundry service job because of a washing machine, but Teavee has an iPad? It was just confusing.

I have no investment in The Dark Tower bring good or not, but I still wish the trailer didn't have the look of every failed film franchise launch movie ever. Like they'd something in the style that so many forgettable movies that cozy a ton of money have in common. Just like this drabness with bits of flash that doesn't look that good but was also probably really expensive.

Can anyone recommend me a good channel on YouTube for cinematography? Something like the One Perfect Shot twitter, with a mix of old & new films, maybe discussing the technical side as well as how it plays thematically?

I got a new camera and I'm looking for more inspiration to film and shoot things.

Condolences.

Something very similar happened to my cat last year. She stopped eating as much, was breathing a bit funny, and seemed more tired than ususal. We thought it was just a cold or at worst pneumonia so we took her to the vet the next day and it turned out to be a incurable and terminal kidney disease that she had probably had from birth.

I like how you can basically see Kyle get better and more professional with every episode of Brows Held High. His early stuff was pretty bog standard angry internet critic stuff with a veneer of high brow sensibility but the last few years he's been real good. Not quite on the level of Every Frame a Painting but in the ballpark at least.

Yeah, I found him a couple years ago and looked into his early stuff that someone uploaded onto another youtube page with a bunch of other personalities from the That Guy With Glasses days. His early videos had Family Guy clips in them. It was no wonder he didn't have them on his official youtube page.
