Is there, like, an established Puyo Pop canon? I assume the Tetris-themed characters are original, but the Puyo guys seem to have a pre-existing storyline. Yeah there's a loose story that doesn't really matter throughout the games Usually Satan does something stupid trying to win Arles heart (or) Ecolo do something that annoys everyone and the team goes out to stop them.

So I decided to try out another sort of Joycon grip, since the Surge ones are good, but lacking a bit on the shoulder buttons. So I got these.  They're way wider, which may be nice for some people, but the shoulder buttons (the thing I liked the look of) are really inaccurate. They're generic, so will fit both Joycons, but the shoulder buttons on the left one are really bad. I can't say I recommend them. On the bright side, I got a refund, so maybe I can tinker with them a little to improve them. Anyone have any experience with the other grips kicking around? I haven't docked my Switch for more than like twenty minutes and I've played through two full charges just loving around in Zelda. What a weird new format for the franchise. It's a great time. Someone please convince me to get MK8D despite my only playing a couple hours of MK8 on my Wii U. I used to play Sonic sperg racing with my old coworkers, and maybe I'd play this with my current team? I'm not as sold as I was on Puyo as a multiplayer game.

It's a great time. if you're already playing switch as a handheld a lot, Mario Kart 8 basically shows you what nintendo are going for with the "multiplayer anywhere" thing. the joycons actually work great for it, the game looks stellar, it's immediate and fun. if you don't like MK8 as a base game it won't change your opinion, probably, but to me it really works as a perfect "proof of concept" for gang multiplayer times

It's my favorite racing game ever and is always a joy whenever I play it even after countless hours playing it on Wii U and now Switch. There's a poo poo ton of content and being able to play two player in table top mode owns.

Tried out Mario Kart online for the first time today and it was overall a pretty pleasant experience. I was fully prepared to be savaged but the matchmaking seems pretty good. Nice matches if you're out there, maris from Japan.
