Oh poo poo was MW2 the one with the mission where one person is in the drone and the other runs through the fields at night?

Cos that's legit my favourite co-op level of anything ever, my brothers and I have played it about a thousand times.

That was almost World Cup Brazil levels of realism.

MW1 was amazing, Blops 2 was decent. MW2 was a huge disappointment. All of the rest I rented and couldn't even finish the SP or play the MP for more than 2 days without getting bored.

Edit: I also bought ghosts I guess lol. Weirdly I thought it was one of the better ones so maybe my COD meter is broken.

The alt-right americans have nazi armbands but the swastikas are blue, so that they are red white and blue.

of course I googled "red white and blue swastika" and found unironic stormfront posts with serious suggestions for American National Socialist flags. eww.

Any suggestions for good games from the Golden Week sale? Was thinking of Gravity Rush 2 and maybe one of the Dragon Warrior games but not sure which one. Heard Odin Sphere also is good/cool?

There are a lot of same-y looking games and I'm sure some of them are garbage so let me know any goon certified goodgame in the list I need to grab? I should mention I have Nier already probably since that would be recommended first I assume.

I can personally attest to final fantasy 15 and digimon cyber sleuth being good if you don't have those yet. galak-z is also mechanically really cool, tho it suffers from being a roguelite

I also hear that tales of berseria and odin sphere are very good

Tales of Berseria is really good! What little I've played of the Odin Sphere remake is really good too.

I really enjoy Gravity Rush 2 so far, but I only play it like two hours every other week as a palette cleanser between games. I haven't even gotten the lunar or Jupiter power yet. Way more people in this thread were disappointed by it than liked it. I think it's a very cool pretty game with fun music and the photography angle is fun. I like it more than any other game on the sale that isn't nier or the first Gravity Rush.

The new gameplay stuff was worth it. Without it feels like you are missing options for your character imo

People like Tales of Berseria right? I've never played a Tales game. Someone sell me on it.

For reference, I love Final Fantasy and Persona, but not all jRPGs hit for me. I had tried Xenoblade back on the Wii and hated it.

Well, it's an action JRPG series which has been around since the SNES days pretty much just as it is, so it's very old-fashioned in most ways. It's heavy on character interaction in the most anime way possible. Does that sell it to you?

I've finished every main line Tales game I have played I think (the portable ones, and direct sequels, are problematic at best), but many of them had serious ups and downs, and periods when I didn't play them for months ago a time, including Berseria right now.

Edit: except for Xillia I guess, which bored me even though others say it's one of the best. I still think Graces is my favorite.

I don't know if it'll mean anything, but I'm generally the same way with Tales games, usually at some point I get annoyed with various things, be they the combat system, characters, and it feels like a chore past a point. Even when I overall liked the game like Xillia or Graces F. But really, that's the end 10% of a game I loved 90% of, as opposed to getting annoyed in the first 10% of the game like Legendia or Symphonia.

But that said, Berseria is the only one I never had that problem with. Except maybe for the final area's enemies being kind of shits at times but even then the combat was still fun and I loved the characters.

Berseria is a Action RPG that tells a well done revenge story without going horribly deep into Edgelord territory. Also, the combat is extremely fun to play.

Thinking back on it, I might actually prefer Berseria over Persona 5.

Also: You can play dress up with all the characters and it will show up in all the cutscenes

Berseria was the first JRPG I played in ages where the requisite child character actually added to the story and wasn't annoying.

Outlast 2 update for the zero other people who are playing it.

This might be flat out the most aggressively unfun game I have ever played. Like, the gameplay is such monumental poo poo I am sort of in awe at how much worse it is than the first game. I wish it was on disc so I could fling it off a building. Thanks for listening.
