2-3 years ago I downloaded a Chiefs/Packers game from 1993 because I assumed Joe Montana would be playing(he was injured of course) and just somehow forgot about it. Anyway I finally got around to watching parts of it tonight and drat, early Favre/Sterling Sharpe was amazing. 1993 Favre had a loving cannon. http://i.imgur.com/datxwNy.gifv And Sterling Sharpe was http://i.imgur.com/ApcR5Mx.gifv

Favre legitimately used to break his WRs fingers because he had such a powerful arm and absolutely no touch whatsoever when he threw the ball, as you see in the gifs. He'd just rifle that poo poo all over the place. Sterling was perfect for him early in his career, because he was such a strong, powerful and smart receiver because he'd always in the place to catch one of Favre's absurd bullets. When Shannon Sharpe was inducted into the HOF, he said something to the effect that he was only the second best Sharpe in the family. If Sterling hadn't hosed his neck up, we'd be talking about him as the second greatest WR after Rice because his stats from his second year until his retirement were loving ludicrous by today's standards, let alone when he played in the 90's.

I don't know how you address the Finley one though, that poo poo was just a freak happening. He got spun and landed on his head.

Cutler is exceptionally smart according to almost every person who has worked with him as far as preparation and learning the gameplan and new systems. His problem is actual execution. He might actually be a good analyst when he doesn't have to answer for his often garbage in the moment decision making.

Not questioning his knowledge of the game, I have heard the same. Like Rondo is to basketball. I just want to hear his dry, monotone self casually rip people for being stupid and not sugar coating a drat thing. Like, put him and Steve Smith together and just sit back and enjoy.
