I don't think religious schools should be a thing based purely on how damaging an authority figure exerting The Law of God can be, especially when a kid's in contact with them 40 hours a week for 13 years and mostly without parental supervision. It's way too much power for something that shouldn't be enforced in the first place. It also seems like everyone I know that went to a Catholic school came out an atheist, so good job there.
