Here's a name to tuck away in the back of your mind. Frandy De La Rosa. I just saw the guy hit a home run over the apartments in left field at our local minor league stadium. I've been watching games there for 10 years and always wondered if anybody would do it and tonight it happened. Could have been a fluke but I have never seen the ball explode off the bat like that in a minor league game. Random picture I found of said apartments:

In today's 35-6 loss to the Red Sox, Joe Mauer came in to pinch hit for the Twins with a runner on 3rd and 1 out, down 7-6 in the 8th. He worked the count full and struck out looking on a borderline third strike. He proceeded to angrily get into it with the umpire.
