There was eventually some pushback where the on the nose names were retconned into not their real name. Like for DC there was a whole thing about of course the Riddler's "real" name wasn't Edward Nygma.

Anyway, here's a teaser for Inhumans.

I think Fitz already feels all the pain and guilt of what he's done. If anything, I'd think the Stare would backfire.

Although, Robbie hasn't actually explicitly done the Penance Stare in the show, has he?

Nah. He just grabs people and fries them extra crispy.

Iirc the Penance stare was Danny's thing, wasn't it? I mean, we already know Johnny exists, but I'm pretty sure we're skipping over Ketch.

I wouldn't be surprised if, if we ever actually have Johnny properly on the show, Danny gets obliquely referenced. Just a passing mention of "other Riders", possibly a montage.

So I humans the Tv show, has nothing to do with the inhuman storyline on agents of shield? Has it performed that badly that it's not even worth trying to write in Daisy?

I swear he did the whole stare in the eyes people burn up. I'll have to load up the earlier episodes and watch again.

He did stop whomping on Daisy after he locked his gaze on her.

Yeah, the traditional story of the Royal Family is that they fled Earth and have been living on the moon hidden away with a society of Inhumans. That doesn't mesh with Daisy and AoS enough to be a "spinoff" and that's actually exactly what I was afraid the show might be. Just a bunch of Inhumans on Earth. I'm relieved they seem to be the traditional pretentious royals from another society.

I personally like the idea of a whole other society of Inhumans that fled Earth after they revolted from Hive generations ago and turn their attention back to Earth when Hive returns and a bunch of new members of their race show up and are getting persecuted. I'd be way colder with something like YoYo and the melty guy getting a spinoff.

I don't expect Daisy to show up or the Hive/Inhumans/Afterlife stuff to get more than exposition or loose mentions. For the most part I'm expecting/hoping for a royal/political intrigue show with super powers. It will probably mention the Shield stuff and maybe even have some late season cameo or crossover or something. But mostly I assume it will be on its own like Agent Carter.

Holy poo poo, fix your English. It's broken.

To answer what I think your question might be, the Inhumans TV series may or may not connect to AoS. Considering that the Inhumans were introduced in AoS, though, I can't imagine there's not going to be SOME reference to the fact that Inhumans exist in the MCU already.

It will most likely be the same as Agent Carter and the same way Agents of Shield has worked with the MCU. It will make references both vague and more overt but probably not do a major crossover.

A cameo is probably possible like with Lady Sif but its unnecessary, really. You can tell a whole story in Attilan and they can even get to Earth and never encounter Daisy and SHIELD. But I'd bet they'll mention Hive and/or the Inhuman "outbreak."

Honestly, I imagine the Royal Family and SHIELD wouldn't get along that great early on. Black Bolt isn't coming to Earth to work for the government, and Coulson and Daisy might not love the idea of a bunch of monarchs who claim sovereignty over random people who took the wrong vitamin. That's a potentially interesting story to explore if there's more of Inhumans, but we're probably looking at more of an origin/palace politics story. Although I imagine/hope some of those politics having to do with the sudden increase in potential subjects.

The Inhumans show isn't set in Attilan, it's set in Hawaii.

The Wikipedia has an entry of a character who is an expert on the moon, so my guess would be Maximus overthrows Bolt, Lockjaw teleports the Royal Family to Earth to escape, they spend the season stopping Maximus from doing something real bad and retake Attilan.

But that's 100% a guess.

And the fact that I feel like that was the plot of every Inhumans comic I ever read. That and weird things about forcing Crystal into marriages with super villains.

Daisy, Yo-yo for sure. A Ghost Rider absolutely.

May is a slight level down. High end martial arts prowess, no powers to speak of. Daisy surpassed her long ago. Ward was the same deal. They're just high end agents.

Fitz is a poor man's Stark, so the team will have some level of technological advantage. Mack brings a shotgun axe? I mean, I guess that's something. Coulson is probably a bit more valuable in dealing with high level threats than Mack, imo.

As a "team" they're probably suited to take on threats that the avengers battle solo, though.

Yep. They're both basically just top-of-their-game Specialists like Ward or May, which I FEEL makes their feats all the more extraordinary. They're like Richard Schiff and Christopher Meloni's characters in Man of Steel: They're just regular people doing what they can, even if it means their lives.

If he doesn't get the Black Widow movie, expect that plotline to never be revisited ever again by the MCU. I cannot imagine the Marvel higher-ups were really pleased with how that little dangling plot thread ended up.

Kiss the Joycon to Kiss Zelda

Really late to the party but holy gently caress that was such a good episode. I can't believe Daisy didn't just Quake Mack into the portal. :( I mean, it's going to be difficult to keep him alive. A blackout could kill him ffs. I'm sure they'll go back in before the end of the season to retrieve him (I honestly thought they'd have to do the same with Fitz).

As soon as Coulson and May left the Framework and it was shown that they retained their memories, I knew Fitz was going to be messed up. His "I think I'm a bad person" line was so heartbreaking, and the realisation that he killed Mace too. The whole "Get out of the way, Fitz!" followed by BAMF was brilliant. It was another HOLY poo poo moment in an episode filled with them.

Fitz and Simmons have become 2 of my favourite characters, which I really didn't expect when the pilot introduced them as the nerdy science team members. The development of both characters on the show has been incredible. Radcliffe also has been brilliant this season, his whole arc has worked really well. I don't know if he'll be sticking around or not, but with the Darkhold 3D Person Printer they can possibly do anything.

This season has been so good I've actually gone back and started re-watching from Season 1.

2 episodes to go and I'm both excited and disappointed. I hope this stupid, brilliant show gets renewed.

e: OH I didn't see it mentioned but I bloody loved that Coulson Alien3'd into the portal.
