Man, that's a bad idea for anyone involved. Bats is gonna get squished no matter who turns over, and if WW steals the covers, there is NO way anyone is getting em back from her. Plus, Bats is only used to being out at night all the time, so the poor dude's gonna be awake the whole time listening to everyone snore while there's justice to deal out

A dude in Australia made a full Iron Man costume so he could visit kids in hospital and cheer them up. It's got all the lights, a mouth control in the helmet that lifts the visor, a voice changer that automatically starts when the visor closes and a few more tricks. Here he is at a Starlight foundation charity fundraiser where he walked around in the suit for 3 hours: http://imgur.com/gallery/vJybi Oh and he made the suit out of steel, it weighs 37kg (81.5 lbs) It took him 3 years to finish the project, he had to go on a crazy crash diet earlier this year because he'd put on some weight and he didn't fit in the suit any more. So I got a question for cosplayers; what do you do with all these extravagant costumes when you're done with them? I'm assuming most people don't have space to just store a bunch of crazy costumes they make over the years so you'd have to get rid of them at some point. Do you just recycle them for other projects, or is there a market for second-hand cosplay?

Honestly what's keeping powered exoskeletons from being used yet is power storage/efficiency issues. Considering the solution is probably graphene, and you can make that in your backyard if you have no regard for personal safety...

When the Cosplay thread meets the bastard child of the Things That Go FOOF In The Night thread and the OSHA thread... Also, for good measure and to bring the Spaceflight thread in, you wouldn't want to use ion thrusters to move anything in-atmosphere; the thrust of high-end ones is about half the thrust needed to levitate a paper clip, and you'll be spending a lot more mass than that on the power/wiring/cooling systems. Speaking of Warhammer cosplay though, have an Adepta Sororitas by Lady K Yeah, yeah, boobplate is dumb, but that doesn't make her work any less drat impressive.
