9:32 p.m. Caller said a male was in the kitchen area of Dunkin Donuts and went out the back door. He was wearing a gray shirt with dark shoulders, ripped jeans and black sneakers. He had an afro and was clearly not there to get coffee as he left without any. Police checked area and found nothing. 7:43 p.m. Caller said he can see a person across the street sitting on the roof and walking the ridge line and is concerned. Units responded. It was a family member taking a picture of the sunset.

i think boomers are especially boring because they grew up watching network television. there's huge swaths of cowboys/yankees fans, if you go to car shows it's all mustangs, everybody listens to "the beatles", etc.

i grew up in some tiny rural poverty hellhole where we pretty much had 3 groups of people:
i guess we were more none of the above since my parents had college educations and worked as lab technicians for the federal government/those processing plants it always felt like classism was the strongest element, with some occasional racism towards immigrant populations from the (older) adult population from time to time, while most of us had mexican classmates K-12 so it didn't really seem to be as strong there i encountered more of it when I went to college and one of my friends had some really racist grandparents we would tell we drove through the bad part of town to visit because their reaction was hilarious to us other than that it was a lot of the liberal type racism where you're not explicitly trying to be, you're just an idiot but man, nextdoor really opened it up in a way that lovely comments sections and written history never could to me

when investors talk about "disruption" what they mean is what apple did to the cellphone industry or amazon did to retail but neither of those companies were entering heavily regulated sectors notice most "fintech" is going nowhere or just selling services to banks for them to integrate into their creaking technology stack, consumer banking is a bad industry unless you're in payday loans or mortgages
