The choice in the election was between Hillary and Trump and Hillary would have been way more destructive just by signing that piece of poo poo into law. Again, you probably are too insulated from the actual effects of what it would have done to working people to realize how big of a deal it was. I'll take the compromises we get with Trump any day.

Instead of investing in infrastructure and education, two things that have both been proven to be massive boons to the economy and general welfare, he's pushed for a ban on refugees, tax cuts for the rich, and made a laughingstock of the office. But yeah he got rid of TPP so it's all good.

I don't think anyone is just going to come along while the Ds and the Rs are so entrenched and everyone is more concerned with the tears of the other team rather than recognizing we're pretty much all in the same boat except for the .1% at the top that dick us year in and year out. If you're not even going to demand accountability and honesty from the President for the sole reasons of "it makes liberals mad" and "but Hillary" then we're going nowhere fast.
