If you're willing to make that trade: good for you, but currently the only 'warfare' in this game is effectively psychological warfare. Relying on JF pilots not only to gently caress up, but also be afk, and be braindead in order to have a CHANCE to kill them is loving stupid. if they fly it right they will NEVER lose it, and flying it right is so stupid easy to accomplish and doesn't even hurt efficiency. A smart JF can supply whatever he wants, as much as he wants, with impunity.

People out of highsec are fighting all the time. Just because there's not a war with a fancy name or the horn of goondor being blown doesn't mean that poo poo isn't getting blown up and needing replacement. And it's not stupid, JFs are the means by which most of the rest of the game is enabled to play. So yea, kill the dumb ones. That's fine and dandy.

I agree with both these things. Freighter convoys would be absurd, and interdicting supply lines could be really cool. But the unfortunate reality is the triviality of JFs combined with the sheer mass of the economy means that getting lucky enough to dunk a JF with an entire fleet in it means, at best, a few hours delay on getting that fleet to its intended destination. As well, due to the layout of the map, there are maybe half a dozen pipes you can use to interdict JFs, and nearly all of them are in-bound to Jita, meaning you're never really preventing people from moving stuff to nullsec, only extracting it. When you undock from 4-4, you immediately jump to lowsec, and there's literally nothing I can do about that. When Imperium moved to Delve, MiniLuv set up shop in the Delve pipelines and ganked anything not blue (and a good amount of blue stuff). This was the only time I saw a real, noticeable impact from strategic ganking. We ganked a DV JF with a 30b isk cerberus fleet in it, and they immediately rolled over and moved to Querious.

One of my only two good memories of being in Goonswarm was the secret santa I participated in where my santee (who ran a JF service) requested an mspaint of his JF dying. In the time between him requesting this and me delivering, his JF actually did die and he lost a bunch of poo poo that was being hauled for other people. Even back then, 5-7 years ago, he was so rich that he didn't give one single gently caress about losing his JF. I can only assume wealth has become even more concentrated since.

This people fail here self later crying in the forum "I didn't get I wanted" haha they forgot the fun is not to get big things the fun is to gift one. But thats only my view of this. Last year I got a new member who only ever posted in the SS thread. I contracted him random MiniLuv garbage that was worth billions, but difficult to sell/move (tobacco, t2 small smartbombs, garbage skins, etc). He rejected all of the contracts. It was probably 8b isk altogether.
