Quest For Glory II posted:are there good anime adaptions of video games. i havent bothered with the persona ones cause like i already played the games so idgaf Virtue's last reward actually had an ova released, but it was pretty bad, and because of the nature of the game, it actually does something that contradicts one of the big plot twists.

Also people will probably point out Persona 4, which has some decent jokes and tells the story competently, but it's animation isn't great and it doesn't really integrate the dungeon portions and action scenes very well imo.

Pretty much, though there was a cute original episode that basically followed Nanako around as a detective, which was worth the watch. Which reminds me that I should probably check out Milky Holmes one of these days...

The 999 anime would need to shrink all the versions of events down to like 2 or 3 episodes each, then have the last one be the best ending It would get pretty repetitive

punch line was good..... it was just all of the goofy parts of vlr with only bare attempts at being serious, it had a fun cast and it looked really pretty

I can't hate on the Persona 4 anime too much since it was the first anime I watched. The personality they gave to the mc is awesome too.
