I mean, it'll be schlocky, because the source material is pretty schlocky (though the anime will almost definitely tone it down a bit), but I dunno. I'm not expecting a high point in the history of artistic expression, but it entertains me, and that's about the only estimation of value to me.

What I've seen of Fate/Apocrypha's Servant designs mostly looks like hot garbage, and I'll miss the UFOtable house style, but even if it's not as pretty as it might be, it at least looks set to be a fun ride with cool action.

Everyone else is decent to great. And c'mon. How can you not love Shakespeare.

The designer(s) didn't really have Takeuchi's touch for making simple but powerful and otherworldly-looking designs - compare Achilles to Iskander, for instance, or Karna to Cuchulainn.

Jack isn't really that major a character honestly. The first few chapters just take a turn focusing on everyone. The ones I'd say are the most important are Siegfried, Shakespeare, and Semiramis.

tbh i could see fate/apocrypha winding up on some weird service, speaking of it. It's the kind of 'spinoff to a known franchise' thing that those newer services seem to like snapping up. Like the danmachi spinoff from this season.
