Snyder lives for moments that are pure action shot epic wow type stuff. Superman landing with that silo or whatever in slow mo,Superman being surrounded by the fans like he's Jesus after saving a girl in a fire.. Batman using his grappling hook jumping from doomsday just like the comics... he makes his movies go for the big moments. And everything else is lost. It's such a shame.

I liked Red Hood and the other one with Damian and some Owl looking dude who was an assassin for some secret society. Had nighthawk in it too. Those were the last two good ones. Flashpoint and Batman + Superman vs the world just spoiled me i guess

It's just difficult to transfer everything that makes his books good, and when it falls short, it really falls short. I'm trying to think of which ones other than Misery, The Running Man and The Shining that have done it, and those last two took some big steps away from the source material, which The Dark Tower probably won't be able to. edit: whoops missed Shawshank and Stand By Me.
