So, I'm finishing up the Nier LP.

Should I move on to the Drakengard 2 or 3 LP next?

Episode XXVII: In the Name... OF SCIENCE!

I’ve seen people be baffled as to how they progress here for Jackass’ quest as they kept eating the fish and dying. You... just don’t eat the fish, you drat idiot! The same fish you have to open the menu, which defaults to Quick Save the second you open it because you’re in a save zone, to tab over to the Item menu and manually eat said fish. There are a lot of trollish things in this game I won’t defend. You managing to not save for hours and get a bad ending eating that fish? That’s just entirely on you being a goddamn idiot! A huge loving moron. You should be put in a registry that bars you from handling heavy machinery or procreating if that gag got you and you bitched about it on the internet. That’s something that should come up in a background check so I know to toss that resume in the garbage immediately due to extreme incompetence.

ANYWAY, beyond the aborted fish experiment, Jackass also has a proper sidequest if you don’t eat the mackerel like a moron again.

I'm in a Dark Id Post! :neckbeard:

Here, look at this. See this reaction? It proves that android brains contain an algorithm which allows them to derive pleasure from battle! Without that, we’d probably have stopped fighting a long time ago. What a brutally efficient piece of evolution! It’s possible this is based on an identical pleasure center in the human brain. Man, those fleshbags really were something!

This? Right here? Is the start of a LOT of Nier Automata smut. Not that the internet needed help, mind you.

She does have a VA, it's just that the side quest dialog isn't voiced.

Fun fact, her VA, Amanda C Miller, is also the VA for Sailor Jupiter in the english dub of Sailor Moon.

... huh.

When I did this quest I hadn't met the two in the oil field, so Jackass just said there were people around who were selling the stuff.

Also, E-Drugs don't effect the pause screen, so I always made sure to take them from the quick menu to actually see the effect go off when you hit the button. It's really satisfying and once I found the dealers I probably used them at least twice per mission.

Yeah I did those "legitimately" (aka not knowing you could stack/charge pods and only having the Laser program) and it was rough. Fun, but the 30s-no-damage one definitely involved a chip setup that had a lot of +ATK and a bunch of HUD elements removed, and about 5 attempts on top of that.

That seems unlikely. OOT doesn't have a lot of polygons per model, but it has a heck of a lot of models.

Texture data does not actually add any polygons or tris. Instead what it does is use the shader engine to give the illusion of more depth or geographic detail. Think of it as a way to make something look way more detailed than it really is without adding way more geometry to the model.
