Points to add:
- I'm in favor of a night operation so Litening Pod would be good like Power crystals had in his plan.
- I would draw the line on collateral damage to letting civilian airliners and cruise ships pass. Anything else is a witness and you know what happens to those. Sink if not avoidable.
- Pirate hats to all. Yarr. :yarr:
- Kfirs to be painted in waifu paintjobs, we can use them for false flag propaganda, deniability and to sow confusion to Free State Reddit.

I'd like to point out that the "Big Fella" plan currently puts our AWACS at serious risk of being shot down by an errant METEOR or equivalent thereof if planes are scrambled in Luanda. Can we please get that part revised so that it stays near our forces, because I'm honestly not seeing the benefit of moving it to the position that plan currently indicates.

I'm not sure I understand why you're sending it into the middle of the ocean as opposed to having it hover over our SAM-protected lines. That AWACS' range should be able to pick up what needs to be picked up from Benguela.

Airspace and ocean traffic monitoring is why. I want to get as good a picture as we can of what is going on in dictator territory as well as on the seas, so we need to have it further up from benguela.

Wouldn't the Reaper + Gorgon's Stare be a better fit for this then?

Let me be clear here, I'm honestly just paranoid about sending the AWACS anywhere without proper defenses because it's literally the most valuable plane in our inventory right now and losing it would be nothing short of catastrophic.

Quinntan
Sep 11, 2013
The reaper/gorgon stare combo is much more limited in terms of the range it can search compared to the Erieye. I'm not concerned at all about the Erieye being at risk during the mission because it will be behind eight Gripens, and if somehow those all get shot down we also have the Phantoms and a pair of Kfirs airborne too.

Completely unrelated to the voting, but I just want to share that I logged into the joke Twitter I made (the one with the Pepe av that likes everything Dos Santos tweets) for the first time in a while. Of course, it's been followed by a few dozen pro-Trump bots because I tweeted #MAGA Make Angola Great Again or whatever. What a wonderful world we live in.

In my plan the explanation is to aid the Gripens in their poking at the AAF.

Mine has it patrolling our airspace, which should surely be a thing we would be doing on the 'off' days anyway just in case someone decides to poke us.

That sounds like our next campaign! (no pun intended)
Provided that someone can find a sufficiently groggy space game of course.

This game should fit the "groggy space combat simulator" rather well. Think Kerbal Space Program with nukes.
