Looks meaty as gently caress in person with the 255s.

What is your suspension setup? I'm thinking about doing that exact setup on my AP1, but my suspension is completely factory so I'm wondering if it'll fit (assuming I roll the fenders)

Penske DA coilovers
Offset bushings for added camber up front
Karcepts swaybars
etc.

It will fit stock, but you will need to roll the fenders, trim the front fender liner, cut the rear bumper, and relocate the rear bumper mount. I no longer regret it.

I don't know why the badge on the rear end says 'Deluxe' when it didn't even come with a second windshield sprayer, how Deluxe can that even be?

Would you really want to go beyond 50mph in this thing? 550cc 2cyl screaming through a 4 speed?
I don't have a weight that I can find for this but I'm guessing it's well under 1500 pounds so at least it has that going for it. I have my Acty going 50mph all the time and it does just fine so I've got hope for this Hijet.

God, seeing that is just giving me intense nostalgia. My extended family in India used to own the local market kei-van, the Maruthi Omni which was essentially a Suzuki Carry:

http://imgur.com/a/GOr3I

I remember going on a roadtrip with 8 people total for almost 17 hours in this thing. That too, on the backroads of India where there are....really no roads to speak of. I learned how to drive stick on this and also remember my grandpa allowing me to drive it around town at 11-12 because the concept of licenses was still pretty foreign. I'm pretty sure it's still alive as well, it was nigh indestructible. Now I'm curious to see if I can import it back here....

If it's 25 years or older and you are in the US then yeah man you can. I'd assume you'd have to pay around 1500 bucks at the max to get it from India to the US based on assuming it's more expensive from there than Japan. Also if you are in California you might have issues with CARB ~otherwise~ it would be super excellent for you to get your Omni and essentially put it in retirement. I sing praises of my kei van all the time but people love the things here in the US. Your Maruthi would be fawned over in ways that only Deloreans can rival.

Yes it unironically was. It was a grey day with a grey car in a shot that's mostly asphalt. It triggered a general malaise in me and how can photography be more successful than getting an emotional response from the viewer? Your photo jacking up the brightness and contrast was just crappy.

This is also art. But like, painting of a can of soup art.

I adore the front end on these space-cars.

Though, at 40 you're supposed to buy a corvette? At least in 'merica.

Bought a new Lens for the camera, Tamron's new 70-200mm. Pretty sharp.
