This weekend I hung/mounted my new tankless waterheater, piped up all the new copper for my new utility sing and washer, bought a bunch of drywall, and played PUBG all night I'm super looking forward to no longer having a cave for a laundry room

Just had a long chat session with an Ebay rep after they sent me a snotty message about not giving people contact info and complaining about "selling outside of ebay". They really don't seem to get that when you're selling poo poo like used engines, people want to come and look at them before buying, and if someone's driven 100+miles to look at something and wants to buy it, you can't really force them to use the buy-it-now option. Apparently you have to make people buy something before giving them an address or phone number, and hey, you can cancel the transaction if they don't want it, and they might remove any resulting bad feedback. Favourite bit is that they don't want to have any kind of option to allow people to say "yeah, I've sold this" and pay the fees. They literally refuse to let you pay them the money they're upset about not making from fees, while trying to force you to do things in a way that makes it harder to sell stuff and thus generate fees in the first place. Speaking of Ebay people, FFS, if you buy a set of four alloy wheels with tyres - which have clearly been descibed as being less than brilliant condition and not that great at holding air - for forty quid, don't turn up and act disappointed that they are, in fact, a bit manky, then ask what "best price" is.

For broader criticism of Ebay wheel purchasing, I just want people to make it clear how many wheels they are selling. I poo poo you not, when I was looking for used Cromodoras recently, I came across one listing where the picture had 5 wheels, the title said "set" and the description said 3 wheels are for sale, but I can buy the other two for $60 plus shipping extra. Why have more than 3 in the picture??

Yeah, other favourite trick/mistake is people putting the quantity as "4" or whatever, so when they intended it to be a set of wheels for £100, they've listed it as £100 each. It takes a certain amount of effort to explain to them that they need to either send or accept an offer of 4x£25 if they intend it to be that price. Best bit is I just looked up the car he said he was getting them for, and it looks like it's a different PCD, so good luck with that.

Speaking of tires and rims, I bought a set of 20" factory take offs from a 2017 tundra to go on my 2012. I contacted someone on CL and went to pick them up today, at the local toyota dealer of all places. Turns out they still had the nubs on them and had the TPMS sensors inside as well. Felt like a good deal, just surprised to see an employee selling them for cash out of the back door. But that's not the only surprise. Apparently 275/55R20 have become so common that replacement tires are cheaper than the 275/65R18s that came on it. Wtf, I remember when 20's used to be a stupid expensive waste of money size that only came on luxury poo poo and only lasted 15k tops. I guess that's 24s and 26s these days.

I'd originally wanted to run 17s or 18s, but the tire selection in a truck-friendly height is poo poo. 20" tires were the same price and much more widely available. Amusingly, "truck friendly height" on a 20" wheel now includes the stock fitment for Challenger SRT8 (245/45R20, which I'm running on front) and Hellcat (275/40R20, which I'm running on rear).

You might want to seriously consider adjusting your diet unless you want to be on meds possibly for the rest of your life. Try going gluten free for two weeks (no cheating) and see how you feel, it's worth a shot. When it comes IBD issues, it usually boils down to eat what you want and take meds (along with side effects) or adjust your diet and hopefully stay med free. Also might want to see a Gastro specialist if you havent already.

Okay, while I appreciate the advice: No, IBD is generally not diet linked, that's largely new thinking, and no, I do not have celiac disease, and am gluten tolerant. This is not to mention that recent studies show that going gluten free generally causes more harm than good and has very little evidence to back supporting it unless you are one of the 5% who have Celiac disease http://www.crohnscolitisfoundation.org/resources/diet-and-nutrition.html?referrer=https://www.google.com/ quote:Is IBD caused by allergy to food? No offense, but pseudoscientific conspiracy theories about doctors is not helping anyone, and yes, the medical marijuana poo poo is largely a bunch of pseudoscience. Its only real proven effect is the ability to aleviate naseau for chemo patients. But it doesn't have good credibility at all yet, partially because study of it is largely restricted in the US, but also because its just a bunch of legalization groups (which I support) spreading nonsense articles about 'OMG It cures Cancer, It Cures Crohns, IT CURES EVERYTHING!' and keep shooting the legalization movement in the foot with New Age woo. They are hoping to have a larger clinical trial going here soon, and are trying to narrow down the pharmacological methods so they can get it into a pill form. I think I recall reading an article by the lead for that study too, where he's said its been difficult to get journals to take it seriously due to the overwhelming amount of pseudoscientific woo surrounding CBD Oil and Marijuana in general.

Supposedly CBD helps reduce inflammation for people with IBD issues, I'll find out here soon because I've applied for my card just waiting on all the red tape. I can say from experience that THC does help the abdominal pain, turns it from a sharp pain into a dull much more manageable pain. If the CBD part is true, the both together should help a lot actually.
