This one time our then four year old sleepwalked out of our house and into our yard at like 2am and we found her out there in the dark, at the other end of the yard, crying and really, really scared because she'd woken up in her jammies in the middle of pitch blackness and she had no idea where she were. She was completely alright and I just picked her up, carried her back in bed and we put an extra hook on the balcony door the next morning. But she was super scared and I've never seen a person who looked more alone or confused than when I picked her up down there. It's a powerful lol to imagine that that same kind of fundamental, dark sadness and fear is how the president of the US, donald trump, must feel all the time except he isn't even aware of it anymore because all he knows now is rage and anger and nobody is ever going to come pick him up or help him and he's going to die like that hahaha.
