Different strokes for different folks and yes, it looks like it came from a record store liquidation. I like it because it has front facing shelves that I can browse easily. Maybe that isn't something you care about and you're fine cocking your head to the side and staring at spines, that's cool too. Believe it or not, if that's what you're looking for, this is kind of the only game in town, unless you want to spend even more money or live in Europe.

Hot take: a record store I frequent recently got two of those shelves in, and they seem pretty sturdy. I personally wouldn't use them because I like just finding the spine and grabbing the record but whatever. I'm just happy that I found some Herbie Hancock in one of them.
