Probably a better use for a rear wiper given how goddamn tiny rear windows have become on hatchbacks. On my prius it's like a pig's tail.

The Locator posted:The one thing I can see on his side is that if the insurance really did jack his rates up by $900 per year based on the appraisal he submitted, then they de facto accepted the value of the stupid truck, and they should pay up. This is why I got horribly paranoid when insuring my C10 after the LS1 swap. Regardless of the dubious value of that guy's rusty rear end brotruck, it is a loving nightmare trying to get "mainstream" insurance coverage at an appropriate level for a vehicle they view as "an old truck". You can absolutely get a stated value plan that doesn't actually mean they'll cover fuckall over what they think it's worth. It's why I have my truck insured through Hagerty. At the time I wasn't hugely excited because I was worried about the usage restrictions. Turns out I don't actually like commuting in a nearly 50 year old truck on anything more than a very occasional basis, the emissions waiver is awesome, and I actually have some faith that in the event I ever need to make a substantial claim for my truck, they'll actually make me whole.

Yea, I think Haggarty is the right move anytime you are trying to insure something that is worth way more than book value, and you can operate within their restrictions.

Fascinatingly, Chrome is not flagging "thundercunt" as a misspelled word.

It's either the left-rear or right-front. If it's right-front, then I can only assume they park by going in nose-first, hitting the curb at an acute angle and riding up the sidewall until they turn back to the left to straighten up. Regardless, it's insane to me that the tire is still holding air.

I'm the terrible last weekend. Did a bit of a road trip through the outback to check out my old haunting grounds. My Aircon developed a very timely leak and all the gas was leaking into the cabin. I thought nothing of it as the gas (R134a ) smells like cow manure. I deal with this gas somewhat daily and should have picked up on it, but I just assumed the smell was the lovely farming towns I was passing through :/
