I don't remember how it is in the lovely books but in the show Tywin returning to Kings landing coincides with Cat freeing Jaime and starting up the trouble with the Karstarks and (depending on how fungible the timeline between seasons is) Cat's dad dying which delays them too. You get the sense that Robb's army is in a holding pattern as he deals with that and prepares to attack Casterly Rock.

Penny Arcade is by far the most popular webcomic to ever exist. I think we'd all be lying to ourselves if we pretended that success didn't have something to do with all the goon antagonism. I used to read them semi frequently but lost interest years ago. After being around for almost 20 years and making 3 comics a week for that whole time, it's easy to find several examples of lovely comics if you really wanted. They're okay but hardly worth having a strong opinion about either way.
