According to Meltz, Hojo is being told to come up with a new finisher because "The elbow drop is Bayley's move" Yeah, I'm sure Hojo's a good enough wrestler to make something else but it's so silly to bring over a wrestler who has one of the best looking finishers in the world and tell them not to use it because another wrestler does a sub-par version on the main roster. It's kind of like when KENTA came over and couldn't use almost any of his moves because CM Punk and Daniel Bryan had hijacked almost his entire repertoire (CM Punk used the GTS & striking combo & Daniel Bryan used the knee strike and "Yes! kicks" and currently Finn is using the Double Stomps) e: Shirai would have to stop using the moonsault too because Charolette does but that's less of a problem for her RealFoxy fucked around with this message at 11:13 on May 19, 2017 |

I think the same happened with TJP and Noam Dar who both used the Kneebar in the indies and Dar now does some form of enzugiri it seems.

Regardless, she's been getting a lot of heat from people about it, even though it probably wasn't her decision. I think the best solution here is to have her talk to Vince or Dunn (I assume the directive came from one of them) and try to get them to change their minds. Also, Shirai will probably be allowed to use the moonsault considering how desperately WWE wanted to sign her.

I never got the problem with having two people using the same move. Like if it's the entire roster it becomes a problem, but if you have two people who use the same move it's like the foundation for the simplest feud in history, and has the potential for a stupid number of spots that will get pops.

Let them have an Elbow Drop Match like the Mania 1 Body Slam match or the Sid/Nash Powerbomb match and sort out whose is best. Or the less good Mark Henry vs Viscera Gorilla Press Match.

Plus commentary is so god awful now they can't even be bothered selling the qualities of wrestling that a particular wrestler possesses that make their spear/superkick/falcon arrow/moonsault more devastating than when others perform it.

I was rewatching the two tag matches from Takeover Orlando and you know what's really really good? Kassius Ohno's music. Also Kassius Ohno. Ruby Riot, Roddy Strong, basically everybody in the 8 person tag and the triple threat tag. that was a good show. I hope this is also a good show.
