It's also possible that he was gonna blow his own head off, but didn't have the courage, so the universe provided him with an American cop. Didn't want to hurt someone else in the process and already had the gun.

Saw this happen once. Except it was a crow. And the power lines fell into the street spitting green fire and sparks all over my truck. I probably damaged my transmission with how quickly I threw it into reverse and drove the gently caress away.
