Back in 2006, when Nicky Hayden was leading the championship and MotoGP came to Laguna Seca, the riders did promo stop in Hollywood. When they were in front of the Chinese Theater signing autographs, I handed Nicky a copy of the MotoGP '06 video game to sign—which had Valentino Rossi on the cover. He gave me a funny look. I told him, "when you win the championship, you'll be on the cover next year." He signed it. He did. He was. I'm really upset about Hayden's death right now because he was killed after being hit by a car while riding a regular bicycle. It's one thing to go while racing, like Wheldon, Wilson, or Simoncelli.
