Yeah that was weirdly specific. I mean she walked in with groceries, so Billingsley could have just had her put away groceries if he wanted to fill a panel or something. But no, instead he makes her put away this bowl for some reason, and as she does so, make sure to note that it is, indeed, a wooden bowl.

Going to yesterday's strip, the bowl had two (at least) apples in it, which Curtis and Gunk ate. I still don't see the importance of the wooden bowl though.
