"This car won the largest PT Cruiser show in Europe in 2013, 1st place in Picnic in the park.
Was stood for a while then I bought it. In my ownership it has been garaged and little used.
I made the "brass" grill insert's and had the blur piping made for the grill surround and chrome wheel arches.
As it stands now with it would be a contender for a trophy at any custom show....no work needed.

It has a "pteazer" front bumper and grill surround, "pteazer" rear bumper and oval rear window.
Custom art work air brushed throughout. All artwork is under lacquer and cannot be felt when touched.
The wheels clean up nice although are showing there age. Still very presentable. Lowered by 40mm.
Twin exhausts. The inside is almost stock but in top condition, there is some chrome parts, to many to list.
The car drives vary well."

That's a downright good airbrush job (gently caress those flames though - they're well done, but that color... ugh).

But that would be much more at home on a minitruck. Preferably a slammed late 80s-early 90s Nissan hardbody or Mitsubishi Mighty Max on Daytons.

I still maintain UK PT Cruiser people are worse than US ones. The PT Cruiser thing also seems to come along with a liking of really naff Americana, and this feeling that they really want to live in some kind of near pastiche version of the US that only exists in low budget TV and films from circa 1981.

You're supposed to have special license plates if you're a volunteer fire fighter in this state.

If he's employed by a professional department, they'd probably give him a take home vehicle rather than have him show up somewhere in a clown car.

Look at the line of the wing profile crossing the top of the front arch, and the alignment of the headlights.

Also, while the FF was the famous/production one, they did build a CV8 with four wheel drive.

Further proof that cars that 'evoke' the spirit of old cars look shittier than the thing they're trying to copy.

How old is that newer one? The styling on it looks like Ford's 'Edge' design language and that's what, 20 years or so old at this point?

They're the result of trying to reboot Jensen at the turn of the millenium - showcar in about 1998, actual building of cars 2001. In Liverpool. They turned £10m into 20 complete cars and 18 partial ones. That's 28 times worse than DeLorean's car-to-investment ratio.

They could've just made almost exact replicas of their old cars and they would've sold. Just different enough that the old boys wouldn't get annoyed but just similar enough that people who wanted an old one can actually get one without spending £££££££££££
