It sucks that Montana was lost to a Republican but it was by 7 points which is pretty good for a weird, hippie musician with no political experience in a PVI+11 state. Let's not forget that Kushner is being officially investigated by the FBI and there is ongoing resistance to GOP/Trump policies that it's creating an actual sustaining grassroots movement. Plus Ossoff has a good shot to win next month and 2018 is not far away. Trump is coming back and now has to deal with a lovely healthcare bill and a tax reform bill that is probably also going to be under intense scrutiny. If you want to bitch about anything, bitch about people not turning out to vote or gerrymandering in state legislatures without at-large seats.
