I used my voucher cash to grab enough Space Wolves to make an army so I am doing that.

The nice thing is that I will finally be able to field a Landraider and predator squadron without feeling like I am wasting points. (And that kickass new SW Contemptor)

Trying really hard not to.

At least want to see full rules in my hands before picking a new one, but I'm already considering Thousand Sons, Skitarii, and Genestealer Cults.

I do know I really want a turquoise kind of color scheme, really digging the thought of an army painted up in that color.

All of those would look good turquoise. Necrons too, I almost wish I did that for mine.

I dug out a T'au army I never really did anything with, have been fixing it up as best I can. Those little jetpacks on the Crisis suits are the fiddliest bastards when their peg's snapped off in the hole.

Biggest worry right now is that Retribution Cadre won't carry over into 8th. Which is a shame, it's been one of my favourite concepts to play so far.

I am going back and forth on an all big marine army of either classic ultra marine or a custume chapter "kickin' asses" with a bucking donkey badge symbol. But for sure new edition new army.

I'm nearly done selling all my current gen space wolves that I didn't like that much anyway. I'm going full bigmar for 8E, no idea what chapter. Maybe one of the new foundings if they came up with a cool color scheme for them, otherwise I'll make something up.

I am not sure if I need 3 sets of the monopose deathguard or if I should wait for more poses like people are talking about. I also have 26 of the older metal guys. I was going to sell them in prep for the cooler new models but I was lazy.

Well, I only want the Primaris marines and the books and poo poo. You got my number. Let me know.

Going to finally return to my first army, Tyranids, after years away. Considering Necrons after that. Always wanted to do a full army, and Warriors were fun and easy to paint for Deathwatch RPG.

I won't be doing a new army for 8th, but I will be coming out of my Horus Heresy hidey-hole and giving my Tyranids a shot again. They've been pretty sad for a while now so if GW has managed to make them good/fun again I think I'll like 8th. I'm treating them like a litmus test. :v:

Beyond that, I may resurrect an old Night Lords project I have in a box somewhere. I tried to make a warband similar to the one shown in ADB's series. Lots of looted wargear, weapons, etc. It was a crazy hodgepodge of chaos marine, imperial marine, and even forge world upgrade parts. It was fun as hell to convert everything and I'd really like to work on them again.

Edit:

:ohdear: I'm cautiously optimistic, but it's FW so who knows what'll happen. I think a lot of 30k will be easy to extrapolate off of the regular marine rules and FW's indices. Hopefully we get updated red books within, say, 6 months, but they've got a lot to tweak and test.

The Astartes Index should be pretty juicy, as far as 30k goes. Stuff like Sicarans, Leviathans, Javelins, etc. should be in there and will give an idea of what to expect.

There is the Mek body in the loota box and I'm pretty sure there are Savage Ork Boyz in fantasy. Though I don't know whether they survived the transition to 40k lite. I have been thinking of running a themed unit of shirtless Orks. I'd have to give them all hair squig mullets tho.

Yeah, but a buck and change a piece plus shipping for just the torsos isn't really attractive when I'll probably need to do up 60 of them. :P

Gonna wait for the book before I start deciding what I need to fill out a list.
